Mission 03

The first of the battle missions, in which there is no building and only fighting, the good thing about these are they are quick and easy enough. Let me just remind you the most important units in your army are your archers.

So you start off marching down the road headed straight for an ambush. Stop when you reach the little hill, and we'll make our stand here. Then enemy comes from the east around the hill, due south and south east. Deploy your units similar to this. It's important to have your small group of archers ready to dart onto the hill as their mission will be to kill the enemy's archers.

Scouts, axe fighters, militia and archers will stream at you from the east, militia from the south east with axe fighters and lancers from the south. Pretty much keep your archers behind your men and you will prevail.




Dart your archers forward once their's start to march towards you. Kill them and the result shouldn't even be close.

All up it was 11 lost to 81 killed. Not too shabby.
